The Lenovo ThinkPad X301,the recently released update to the ThinkPad X300 hasn't created quite the stir that the first-generation model (which, like the Apple MacBook Air, fits inside a manila envelope) managed to arouse, but it did receive a handful of new technologies. It now has a built-in DisplayPort for compatible displays, such as the Dell UltraSharp 2408wfp, that are trickling into the marketplace; a bigger, 128GB SSD drive option; and new Intel Centrino 2 parts, inching it closer, performance-wise, to its rivals, the MacBook Air and the Voodoo Envy 133.
